The US will transfer ATACMS missiles with a range of up to 300 km to Ukraine immediately after Biden's approval

The US House of Representatives has approved a new bill to allocate significant aid to Ukraine in the amount of $61 billion. The draft law received wide support among legislators: 311 members voted for it, 112 voted against it.

The main emphasis of the bill is on strengthening Ukraine's military potential, including the transfer of long-range ATACMS missiles, which are capable of hitting targets at a distance of up to 300 kilometers. This will significantly expand the strategic capabilities of the Ukrainian armed forces.

In addition, the bill provides for the confiscation of frozen Russian assets and their subsequent transfer to Kyiv. The move is part of a broader US strategy to support Ukraine in its conflict with Russia.

After approval in the House of Representatives, the bill will be sent to the Senate, and if approved, the document will be sent to President Joe Biden for signing. It is expected that if the bill comes into force, the Pentagon will quickly begin sending the promised air defense systems, artillery and other weapons to Ukraine, some of which can be delivered in less than a week.
