Ukraine will receive additional Himars MLRS and International MaxxPro armored vehicles.

Despite the fact that a week earlier the United States announced that it was not expected to transfer additional Himars MLRS launchers to Ukraine in the near future, the Reuters news agency reported that the White House would officially announce the transfer of an additional batch of such weapons to Kyiv this afternoon. We are talking about four launchers, ammunition for them and a large batch of International MaxxPro armored vehicles (presumably up to 50 units). The total amount of new military aid to Ukraine will be $625 million.

“The US will announce on Tuesday a new $625 million aid package that will include 4 HIMARS systems, ammunition and International MaxxPro armored vehicles”, - reports the information agency "Reuters".

What exactly caused such unexpected deliveries of these weapons to Ukraine and what caused the fact that this was announced on Tuesday, and not on Thursday, as previously assumed, is unknown, however, according to a number of data, such actions by Washington may be caused by the expansion of the territory controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine or the same, which is also very likely, the loss of several launchers.
