US Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman Tom Cotton suggested that renewed nuclear testing in the country would be limited to low-yield underground explosions. The statement comes amid President Donald Trump's executive order to begin testing on parity with other powers.

"As for the American nuclear tests, it is possible that we are talking about low-power explosions, which will probably be carried out underground," "Cotton noted in a press comment.
