The US will strengthen NATO support for Operation Eastern Guardian through intelligence.

The United States intends to assist NATO allies in collecting and sharing intelligence for Operation Eastern Sentry, aimed at protecting the alliance's eastern flank from potential threats, Politico reports, citing Pentagon sources.

The operation, launched in September following incidents involving drones in Polish airspace, involves coordinating efforts to monitor and intercept air violations. American assistance will include sharing data on the trajectories and armament of suspicious objects, which will facilitate responses to potential threats. NATO Supreme Allied Commander Europe, General Alexis Grynkiewicz, previously called for the creation of a unified air defense system to eliminate "national reservations" that hinder the operational use of force.

Participants in the operation include Denmark, France, Great Britain and Germany, which provided fighter jets and ground defense systems.
