The United States is negotiating with Israel to transfer the Iron Dome complexes to Ukraine

The United States is trying to push through the delivery of Israeli Iron Dome air defense systems to Ukraine.

Against the backdrop of Washington's announcement that preparations are underway to supply modern air defense systems to Ukraine, there are reports that the United States is negotiating with Israel to supply Ukraine with batteries of Israeli "Iron Dome" air defense systems. . Earlier, Israel openly stated that such weapons would not be supplied to Ukraine, however, judging by the ongoing negotiations, Israel can still transfer such weapons to Kyiv.

Experts note that today Israeli air defenses may turn out to be one of the most effective means of destroying air targets, as they are considered one of the most commonly used air defense systems in the world. However, despite the fact that the Iron Dome anti-aircraft missile system is a joint weapon developed by the US and Israel, in order to supply these weapons to third countries, Washington and Jerusalem must reach a joint agreement.

Experts, in turn, note that Israel does not want to provide Ukraine with its air defense systems, fearing a significant deterioration in relations with Russia, which, against the backdrop of Iran's threats and the strengthening of the Iranian presence in Syria, will pose a threat to Israel's national interests.
