For the first time, the United States is discussing the issue of transferring GLSDB missiles to Ukraine for HIMARS with a range of 160 kilometers to Ukraine

The Pentagon proposes to give Ukraine missiles for HIMARS with a range of 160 kilometers.

We are not talking about ATACMS missiles, which the United States has in limited quantities, or GMLRS missiles, with which the American army has already begun to experience a shortage. According to Reuters, the discussion concerns the supply of GLSDB missiles to Ukraine, which not only have a long range, but also have an extremely low radar visibility, which allows them to avoid being hit by air defense systems.

The Ground-Launched Small Diameter Bomb is a joint project between Boeing and Sweden's Saab AB. The combat part of the complex is the GBU-39B SDB bomb, which, in fact, is planted on the M26 rocket, for long-range launches.

It is known that Boeing made a proposal to supply GLSDB missiles. Apparently, the United States has quite a lot of such weapons, and with twice the range than the GMLRS missiles, the missiles GLSDB pose a very serious threat to the rear, as well as to civilians, since the damaging effect is very large.

Given the range of such missiles, the latter will be able to reach almost any point on the territory of the LPR, DPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, and even to the outskirts of Evpatoria, Dzhankoy and other large cities of Crimea.
