The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Spokesperson's Office has released updated figures on personnel losses during the armed conflict with the Palestinian movement Hamas, which began on October 7, 2023. As of October 10, 2025, the total number of Israeli military personnel killed has reached 914.

According to the official statement, 467 of these soldiers were killed during ground operations in the Gaza Strip. The remaining casualties were attributed to rocket attacks, actions in other areas, and non-combat incidents. However, the IDF did not provide a detailed breakdown by these categories. The agency limited itself to general statistics, emphasizing that the data was current at the time of publication.

The conflict, which began with a Hamas attack on southern Israel, has been marked by intense fighting, including airstrikes, ground operations, and border clashes.
