Moscow, July 8 — Avia.pro. Retail prices for motor fuel at Sevastopol gas stations have skyrocketed, more than doubling. This was officially announced by Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev during a meeting with President Vladimir Putin.

According to the regional governor, the price of 1 liter of AI-95 gasoline at local gas stations has currently reached 197 rubles. This significant price change comes amid ongoing logistical difficulties delivering fuel and lubricants to the peninsula.

Previously, Sevastopol and Crimea implemented targeted distribution mechanisms for petroleum products, including fuel sales using special QR codes and coupons with a strict limitation on fuel volumes of 20 liters per vehicle. The city's mayor emphasized that current retail parameters require prompt intervention from relevant federal agencies.

During the discussion of the issue at the highest government level, it was noted that stabilizing pricing policy is directly linked to the Ministry of Energy's previously announced measures to completely block diesel fuel exports and launch mechanisms for importing petroleum products. The federal government instructed relevant agencies to develop additional logistics routes to ensure uninterrupted supply to the Sevastopol fuel market.
