Syrsky recognized the total superiority of Russian aviation and air defense

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Syrsky, in an interview with the British newspaper Guardian, noted that Russia has significant superiority in aviation and powerful air defense. In this regard, Ukraine is increasingly using unmanned aircraft systems to conduct operations.

An article published on the Guardian website quotes Syrsky as saying that even the arrival of the promised Western F-16 fighters will not radically change the situation. He emphasized that the use of these aircraft is possible only at a considerable distance from the front line.

"Western fighters will not be able to approach the front closer than 40 kilometers," — the Ukrainian commander-in-chief noted, pointing to the high risks of a clash with Russian forces.

However, it is known that NATO will also provide Ukraine with long-range missiles, which creates a certain risk.
