Syrsky: Russia has amassed 150 troops to encircle Pokrovsk

Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrsky, stated in an interview with The New York Post that Russian troops have amassed up to 150 soldiers in the Pokrovsk sector with the goal of completely encircling Pokrovsk and surrounding towns.

According to him, the enemy is seeking to cut off supply lines from the north, south, and east, ultimately taking control of the entire Donetsk region. Syrsky noted that this is the largest concentration of forces on a single front line in the entire conflict.

Previously, the commander-in-chief mentioned the existence of backup plans in case of complications in the area, emphasizing the controllability of the situation despite the pressure. However, if Syrsky's words are true, the resistance of the Ukrainian army has effectively been broken.
