Surprise from the Russian Air Force: Russian military aircraft bombed the Turkish border

Russian combat aircraft bombed terrorist positions right on the border with Turkey.

A few hours ago, the Russian Air Force combat aircraft launched a series of powerful attacks on positions of pro-Turkish militants and terrorists, openly launching an attack for the first time in 3 months. According to Arab media, the airstrike was struck right along the Syrian-Turkish border, while sources say that we are talking about militants who were planning an attack against the Syrian and Russian troops.

“The Russian air force was spotted throughout the western part of Idlib province while striking at places like Jisr al-Shugur along the Turkish border. According to a field report from Idlib Governorate, Russian air forces flew over areas controlled by militant groups such as the Turkestan Islamic Party (TIP), Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (KHT) and Urras Al-Khatras (terrorist groups banned in Russia - approx.- сообщает Al-Masdar News.

The Syrian Ministry of Defense, in turn, does not confirm the attack on the positions of militants in the Turkish border, which raises many questions, because according to a number of Turkish sources, explosions were actually recorded in the said area.

A few days earlier, sources in the Syrian army announced that they were preparing a new large-scale offensive operation in which the Syrian, Russian and Iranian military would be involved.
