The Taliban are strengthening their military presence on the border with Iran.

The Taliban are actively building up their military presence near the border with Iran, and additional units are being transferred, including armored vehicles, dumbbells, armored personnel carriers, tanks and heavy artillery. These data are alarming, as fears are growing in the region about the possible outbreak of a full-scale armed conflict with the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The Taliban ("Taliban" - a terrorist movement banned in the Russian Federation - ed.), who recently called for a war against Iran, have shown determination to increase their military presence in the region. This, in turn, could lead to a sharp escalation of tension in the region, which threatens stability in Central Asia.

The situation in the region is becoming increasingly tense and observers fear that the escalation could turn into a full-scale armed conflict. The Islamic Republic of Iran has not yet given an official response to the Taliban's call for war, however, the Iranian authorities are clearly closely monitoring the development of the situation on the border.
