Taliban attempted to shoot down American B-52 strategic bomber

The Taliban attacked the American B-52 strategic bomber for the first time.

Members of the Taliban terrorist movement, banned in Russia, attacked the American B-52 strategic bomber when the latter was striking the Taliban's outskirts of Kunduz. It is known that at least one missile from a portable anti-aircraft missile system was fired at the bomber. However, it was not possible to knock out the American plane, which is obviously due to the departure of the bomber from the MANPADS affected area.

Judging by the information provided, the Taliban are indeed beginning to attack American forces that are hindering the advance of the militants. Given that the terrorists could well have captured short-range air defense systems (meaning the American M1097 Avenger), there is a possibility that the US Air Force bombers will still be shot down.

There is no documentary evidence that the Taliban actually attacked the American B-52 bomber at the moment, which indicates that the militants may conduct propaganda.

Over the past 48 hours, members of the Taliban have managed to capture four administrative centers throughout the country. At the same time, there is a possibility that within the next 72 hours the number of those will double.

B-52 is a cow that is not capable of evading air defense missile attacks or actually maneuvering.
