4th of July. In Afghanistan, militants destroyed a presidential helicopter.

According to the representatives of the press center under the President of Afghanistan, during the Taliban attack on the local airport, 3 helicopters were damaged, and if two cars received normal damage, then the presidential one, one of this number, was completely destroyed by a missile hit. At the moment it is known that the helicopter was ordered in Russia, but its model is not indicated. The national airport is now closed due to ongoing militant attacks.

The aggravation of the situation in Afghanistan occurred after the US President announced that the US military contingent would be withdrawn from the country at the end of this year.
