The Taliban captured 12 Ukrainian mercenaries "forgotten" at one of the military bases in Afghanistan

Ukraine "accidentally" forgot 12 mercenaries in Afghanistan.

Twelve Ukrainian mercenaries were taken hostage by Taliban terrorists (banned in Russia - ed.) At one of the military bases near Kabul. As follows from the data presented, official Kiev for some reason forgot that the mercenaries are still on the territory of Afghanistan. At the same time, as it turned out, the Taliban not only took the Ukrainians hostage, but also disarmed them, declaring that it was better for them to behave quietly, otherwise it would be fraught with very serious consequences.

The source has not yet reported how long the Ukrainian military was held captive by the Taliban, however, the day before, Ukrainian mercenaries returned to the territory of Ukraine. At the same time, Kiev did not officially comment on the circumstances by which the Ukrainians were forgotten in Afghanistan after the report that all citizens left the territory of this state.

“The Il-76MD military transport aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force arrived at the Kiev airport Borispol with Ukrainian citizens evacuated from Kabul. It is reported that 83 people were taken out of Afghanistan, including 31 Ukrainian citizens. At the same time, the border service reported that among the 83 passengers there were 12 Ukrainians who were stuck at a military base near Kabul. On August 17, it became known that more than 40 soldiers, including 12 Ukrainians, had been abandoned at an American base near Kabul. The sister of one of them reported that members of the Taliban (the movement is prohibited in Russia) came there, disarmed the servicemen and threatened them not to rock the boat. ", - informs "Telegram" -channel "Dambiev", publishing the corresponding video frames.

Earlier, a video was published in which unknown mercenaries, posing as members of a Ukrainian PMC, stated that they were "forgotten" to evacuate from Afghanistan, which the Avia.pro resource had already reported.
