The Federal Security Service (FSB) has detained a 32-year-old resident of the Tambov region on suspicion of treason. Investigators believe the man systematically collected and transmitted information to a Ukrainian blogger about the deployment and movements of Russian units participating in a special military operation.
The information included the coordinates of military installations and convoy routes. According to the intelligence agency, the blogger acted under the supervision of the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) and used the obtained materials to adjust strikes by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
A criminal case has been opened under Article 275 of the Russian Criminal Code. The suspect has been arrested, and an investigation is underway. The FSB is not disclosing the blogger's identity or the amount of data transferred.
