The first Leopard 2 tanks have already arrived in Ukraine.

At the moment, it is known that two tractors with Leopard 2A4 tanks crossed the border of Romania and Ukraine and are currently in the southern part of the country. The tanks are supposed to be prepared for further use by Ukrainian troops in the near future.

Judging by the fact that the supply of tanks is carried out in small batches, it is obvious that in the West and in Ukraine they fear that after identifying areas with these combat vehicles, they may be hit before the tanks can take part in the battles. However, it is very remarkable that the supply of tanks is carried out from the Romanian border, and therefore it is not yet possible to establish the true identity of these combat vehicles.

According to a number of sources, tractors with Leopard 2 tanks were seen in the Nikolaev area, moving in a northerly direction. The specific destination is still unknown, however, the deliveries that have begun indicate that the start date for the use of these combat vehicles may shift.

To date, Ukraine has about 100 trained crew members for the use of Leopard 2 tanks, which makes it possible to form a battalion from the first combat vehicles delivered.
