A few hours ago, the leaders of the Taliban terrorist movement, which is banned in Russia, announced the dispatch of a large group of militants to the area of ​​the Afghan province of Panjshir in order to gain complete control of the territory of Afghanistan. However, even before the main terrorist forces approached the rebellious region, the Northern Alliance forces destroyed several Taliban vehicles, shooting a convoy of equipment from T-62 tanks.

At the moment, the Taliban terrorists are opposed by about 10 thousand Afghan soldiers and volunteers. At the same time, in addition to armored vehicles, both light and heavy, the Northern Alliance forces are armed with aviation - several helicopters and light attack aircraft, which significantly complicates the Taliban offensive.

According to preliminary data, as a result of the counterattack of the Northern Alliance forces, up to three dozen terrorists were destroyed, as a result of which the Taliban were forced to maintain their distance so as not to be corny shot by tanks.

Against the background of the fact that the situation in Afghanistan has changed dramatically, experts do not exclude that the Northern Alliance may receive support from NATO and other countries. This will make it possible to defeat the militants and destroy most of the terrorists.
