Evgeniya Obolashvili, the operations editor at the Moscow 24 television channel, lost her job after posting a video discussion on her personal Telegram channel, where she and her colleagues discussed the news of a distress signal being sent by a Moscow-Phuket flight on December 3.

In the video, which quickly spread across other channels, the girl says:

"We've got a passenger plane sending out a distress signal. Karina and I are just saying, 'I wish something would happen so we could work properly. In operational mode. Right, Ilyukh? You want to get it all done? Look at his satisfied face.'"

The circle was apparently recorded on a private channel and leaked publicly through friends. After the leak, Obolashvili deleted the video and the channel itself.
