The territory of the LPR came under massive blows from Himars a few hours before the referendum

The Ukrainian military launched Himars MLRS attacks on the LPR a day before the referendum on joining Russia.

Less than a day before the start of the referendum in the LPR on joining Russia, the territory of the Lugansk region was subjected to powerful rocket fire from Ukrainian troops. According to journalists, at least 18 strikes were recorded using Himars MLRS, while the territory of the Luhansk People's Republic was also subjected to attacks using other weapons.

As follows from the official data of the representative office of the Lugansk People's Republic in the JCCC, over the past 24 hours, at least 18 strikes were carried out on the territory of the LPR using the Himars MLRS.

Initially, Lysichansk was attacked, at which at least four rockets were fired. After 5 hours, another four strikes were inflicted on Lisichansk using American Himars multiple launch rocket systems. At 16:30 p.m., strikes were made on the territory of the Gorskoye settlement, and at 19:45 p.m. Lisichansk was subjected to the third attack in a day - 6 missiles were fired at the city.

It is known that as a result of the attacks of the Ukrainian military there are both destruction and victims, however, much more remarkable is the fact that the attacks on the LNR intensified immediately after the leadership of the republic decided to hold a referendum on joining Russia.

Experts expect that over the next four days, attacks on the LPR, DPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions will only intensify.
