Terrorists supported by the Turkish army launched an assault on Manbij with the Russian and Syrian military.

A few hours ago, jihadists made their first attempts to storm the Syrian city of Manbij, in whose territory the Syrian and Russian military are stationed. The corresponding video was distributed by terrorists through social networks, however, this information has not yet been confirmed by any other sources.

On the presented video frames, you can see that we are talking about a shootout using both manual automatic weapons and large-caliber installations placed on automotive vehicles.

It is noteworthy that social networks report that Russian combat aircraft launched a series of powerful airstrikes in the northern suburbs of Manbij shortly before, where concentrated enemy forces were noticed.

It should be clarified that the jihadists have practically no heavy weapons, however, given the support from the Turkish army, the situation could seriously aggravate.

It should be noted that according to the latest information, the number of Syrian troops in Manbij reaches 1500 people, while sources report the presence of Russian military in the same area - according to various sources, we are talking about a group from several dozen to almost one and a half hundred Russian military.
