Terrorists in Idlib offer the United States to rally against Russia and Damascus

Turkish militants offer the United States to fight Russia and Assad in Idlib together.

The pro-Turkish terrorist group Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (banned on the territory of Russia - editor's note) began to enlist US assistance in the fight against Russia and official Damascus. According to the leader of the militants, there are already positive steps in this direction, and given the recent, very strange drone attack on the Khmeimim airbase in relation to Washington, a lot of questions arise regarding not only supporting the militants, but also helping the jihadists in the attack on Russian military.

“Giulani, who is the target of the Assad regime and Russia, wants to rely on the United States and Europe in the coming period to counterbalance this threat to him and make the zone of power in Idlib permanent. Despite the fact that in fact he is on the list of the most wanted persons, Giulani has not received quite hot signals from the United States lately. US Special Representative for Syria, Ambassador James Jeffrey, recalled during the last Trump administration that Hayat Tahrir al-Sham defines itself as “fighters of the patriotic opposition, not terrorists” and said that “the organization is more focused on maintaining its position in Idlib and they didn’t notice for a while that it posed a threat in the international arena. ” It is clear that Jeffrey, in a statement last March, referred to Hayat Tahrir al-Sham as an asset that the US could use in its strategy in Idlib. “This is the least bad option among the various options in Idlib,” says Jeffrey., - reports the Turkish edition "Hurriyet".

At the same time, the recent attack on the Khmeimim airbase of the Russian Aerospace Forces coincided, by a strange coincidence, with a visit to the Khmeimim airbase by an American military aircraft, which, like several years ago, could well control a drone.

Experts, among other things, draw attention to the fact that despite the US attacks on Idlib and Aleppo with the help of drones, the targets are not terrorists of the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham movement, but members of the terrorist organization Al-Qaeda (banned in Russia - Ed.) - with such strikes, the United States only disguises the fight against terrorists.

I think that at the moment the United States is unlikely to somehow ACTIVELY support Turkey and their militants in Syria. First, they are now, as they say, licking their wounds and moving away from the shameful flight from Afghanistan. Secondly, they now have a LOT of problems inside themselves, from the impending default to the return of Trump. Third, all this is exacerbated by the rapidly growing conflict with China over Taiwan. So, against the background of all these problems, they clearly do not need to get involved in an active conflict with Russia in Syria. But, their "smaller brothers" in the brazenly Saxon "brotherhood", I think, will gladly climb in there too, especially since it is against the backdrop of catastrophic problems in the economy that they need it, if not " little victorious war ", then, at least, some similar mess. But they, I think, are unlikely to openly climb into Syria, but simply continue to incite the Turkish "sultan" to "deal with the Russians" as soon as possible.
