Trump announces meeting of representatives of Russia, the US and Ukraine tomorrow

A meeting of high-level representatives of Russia, the United States, and Ukraine is planned for February 14, 2025, as part of the Munich Security Conference. US President Donald Trump said that high-level officials from these countries will attend the event.

The Munich Security Conference, held annually since 1963, is an important international platform for discussing global security issues. This year it will be held from February 14 to 16 and will bring together leaders from more than 60 countries. The main topic of discussion will be the US plan to achieve a just and sustainable peace in Ukraine.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will lead the Ukrainian delegation at the conference. He is expected to hold meetings with representatives of the new US administration, including Vice President J.D. Vance, as well as with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte. The Ukrainian side intends to present its vision for ending the conflict and achieving lasting peace.

Vice President J.D. Vance and Special Representative for Ukraine and Russia Keith Kellogg will attend the event on the American side. They plan to discuss with their allies an action plan to restore stability in Ukraine.

Earlier, Donald Trump held telephone talks with the presidents of Russia and Ukraine, discussing possible ways to resolve the conflict. However, these initiatives have caused concern among European leaders, who insist on the need for their participation in peace talks.

The Munich Conference provides an opportunity for direct dialogue between key parties to the conflict and their international partners. The international community is closely monitoring the developments, hoping for significant progress in the process of resolving the situation in Ukraine.
