While aboard Air Force One, the American leader praised the Ukrainian side's initiative to hold a personal meeting with Vladimir Putin.

The White House chief emphasized that it was his efforts that helped bring the parties to the conflict to the current diplomatic situation. According to Donald Trump, the further settlement process and the discussion of the details of the agreement depend directly on the leaders of the two opposing states themselves, expressing confidence that the parties will ultimately be able to resolve all differences.

At the same time, Russian Presidential Aide Yuri Ushakov officially confirmed the intensification of Russian-American contacts. According to the Kremlin spokesman, active preparations are currently underway for a visit to Russia by key Trump advisers Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, during which they are scheduled to meet in person with Vladimir Putin.
