"I just had a long and very productive conversation with Vladimir Putin. We discussed many issues, including Ukraine, the Middle East and energy. We both agreed that everything possible must be done to stop the loss of life in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine," - declared Trump. 

One unexpected outcome of the conversation was that the leaders agreed to visit each other's countries, which could signal a possible resumption of personal meetings and attempts to establish high-level diplomatic dialogue. 

Trump's statement has caused a wide resonance in the world media and diplomatic circles. In the context of the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, any hints of possible negotiations between Russia and the West are perceived as a significant step towards finding a diplomatic solution. However, experts warn that such initiatives may have other goals, including strengthening Trump's political position ahead of new elections in the United States.
