Three Lithuanian airport together.

7 November 2013. The parliament of the state decided to join three Lithuanian airports, namely Kaunas, Palanga and Vilnius. This decision is due to the improvement of the airport (already one) and the reduction in management costs.

As a result of the merger, 5% of employees will be dismissed, and the amount of expenses will decrease by 1 million litas per year. The main airport will be Vilnius, its responsibilities will include creating favorable conditions for low-cost airlines.

With regard to the Palanga airport, it will be regional and will meet the needs of Western Lithuania.

Why Lithuania had three airport? Correctly done, that will integrate them into one. Less cost, less staff, more convenience.
