Another case of an attack by a Ukrainian drone has been recorded in the Belgorod Region, resulting in serious injuries to civilians. The incident occurred in the village of Berezovka in the Borisov District, where a drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck a civilian vehicle. Three people were killed in the attack: two adult men and a 15-year-old teenager. All of them were quickly taken to medical facilities, but their condition is assessed as serious, which emphasizes the seriousness of the consequences of this incident. Local authorities have not yet disclosed details about the type of drone and the circumstances of the attack, but they confirm that the target was a civilian object.
Belgorod Region Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov reported that the victims are receiving all necessary medical care, and emergency services are working at the scene. According to him, such incidents in border areas have become part of the daily reality of the region, which has been regularly hit since the beginning of the conflict in Ukraine. The attack on Berezovka was the latest episode in a series of attacks aimed at civilian infrastructure and residents of the region, which is causing growing concern among the population.
The incident highlights the vulnerability of Russia's border areas to increasingly frequent drone attacks. Residents of the Borisov district, located near the border with Ukraine, have already come under attack more than once. The damaged vehicle, according to preliminary data, had no connection to military facilities, which once again raises questions about the goals and consequences of such actions.
