The goal of the Turkish military operation in Syria will be to take control of the Syrian Aleppo.

Despite the fact that the Turkish military operation is aimed at taking control of a 30-kilometer zone in northern Syria, it became known that one of its goals will also be the capture of the Syrian city of Aleppo, which is one of the largest cities in the Arab republics. Similar information was provided by Turkish information resources, referring to representatives of the party of the current President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

"A Syrian opposition journalist said, according to information received from sources from the AKP (Erdogan's party), that the Turkish army plans to take control of Aleppo in the second stage after the "creation of a security zone"", - reports the Turkish "Telegram" channel "Türk Kulübü".

According to previously announced information, the Turkish military operation in Syria should begin in less than 24 hours. Moreover, it is planned to conduct it immediately along the entire Syrian border. At the moment, it is known about the movement of large columns of military equipment near the Syrian border, which includes tanks, self-propelled artillery mounts, light armored vehicles, etc.

At the moment, it remains unknown whether the Russian side will interfere in the Turkish military operation in Syria, however, the situation threatens to escalate into a large-scale armed conflict in the region.
