Turkey confirms sale of Bayraktar TB2 attack drones to APU

Official Ankara confirmed the sale of drone UAVs to Kiev Bayraktar TB2.

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu confirmed earlier information on the sale to the Armed Forces of Ukraine of Turkish reconnaissance and strike unmanned aerial vehicles "Bayraktar TB2". The exact number of Turkish drones sold to Ukraine is not named, however, quite remarkable is the fact that the statement itself was made within the framework of the forthcoming military operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Donbass and against the background of the concentration of Ukrainian forces near the Russian borders.

According to Mevlut Cavusoglu, the sale of shock drones to Ukraine is not at all an anti-Russian orientation of Ankara, however, the Turkish Foreign Ministry explained that if Russia needs good weapons, then Turkey can sell its drones to Moscow, thereby emphasizing that Ankara will cooperate with any country , regardless of whether Russia approves or not.

“Talking about the tensions between Russia and Ukraine, Cavusoglu said:“ If everyone can come to an agreement, they can give everyone a defense industry product. This is not a manifestation of anti-Russian sentiment. We will sit down and negotiate. with them". Cavusoglu, answering questions, said that Turkey can sell its weapons even to Russia if it is so worried about it "- сообщает Turkish information publication "Akit".

The exact number of Bayraktar TB2 attack drones in service with DCE remains unknown, however, according to Turkish news agencies, we are talking about an order by Ukraine of about 60 attack UAVs of this type.

Good anti-advertising will turn out for these Bayraktars when Russia knocks them down.
