Turkey tries to ban Iran from supplying SHAHED-136 kamikaze drones to Armenia

Turkey has banned Iran from supplying SHAHED-136 kamikaze drones to Armenia.

After the successful use of SHAHED-136 attack drones against the Ukrainian military, Turkish politicians issued a statement banning the supply of this type of kamikaze drones to Yerevan. In all likelihood, this fact indicates that Armenia and Iran are negotiating a contract for the supply of such aircraft.

According to Iranian journalist Khayal Muazzin, the warning made by Turkish politicians raises a very serious concern, since Turkey's attempts to prevent the flow of high-tech weapons to Armenia may indicate the fact that Ankara and Baku are preparing for a new armed conflict, and kamikaze drones have demonstrated high efficiency. .

Tehran has not yet made any official statements on this matter, however, the Islamic Republic may be extremely interested in organizing the supply of weapons to Armenia, as it categorically opposes any geopolitical changes in the region.

So far, there are no official statements from Yerevan about its intentions to acquire a batch of Iranian weapons.
