Turkey broke the contract for the supply of S-400 from Russia
The contract for the supply of Russian S-400s to Turkey was canceled.
According to an SMC source, the contract for the supply of Russian S-400 systems to the Turkish army was thwarted. It is reported that Turkey was not satisfied with the terms of the deal proposed by Russia, and, apparently, this is due to the unwillingness of Russia to transfer technologies of Russian air defense systems to Turkey.
"Moscow announced that it had not signed the second contract for the supply of C400 with Ankara and began to clarify the first contract."- сообщает "SMC".
Earlier, information appeared that Turkey is trying not only to conclude a contract with Russia for the supply of S-400 at a lower cost, but also intends to gain access to Russian technologies in order to start producing the S-400 on its territory or use similar technologies for production of our own anti-aircraft and anti-missile defense systems. Nevertheless, given the fact that Russia is categorically against this, it was not possible to conclude a second contract between Moscow and Ankara.
