Turkish air defense systems and artillery spotted transferred to Syria

Turkey has begun the transfer of artillery and air defense systems to Syria.

Amid tensions in relations between Ankara and Damascus, the situation has escalated quite strongly between Turkish and Russian forces. So, on the eve of the day it became known that the Turkish military began to transfer to Syria its air defense means and heavy artillery pieces, as evidenced by numerous photographs and video footage taken by local residents.

In the photographs presented, you can see how Turkish military tractors transport self-propelled artillery units towards the Syrian province of Idlib. Despite the absence of photographs with the air defense systems being thrown, it is argued that at least three covered trailers, visually resembling the MIM-23 Hawk complexes, were also part of a military column of the Turkish Armed Forces. This indicates a very serious aggravation of the situation in the region, since today only Russian fighters and bombers are involved in strikes against Turkish terrorist groups.

It is noteworthy that the day before, two Russian military helicopters came under rocket fire four kilometers from the Syrian city of Tel Tamr (Hasaka province), as previously reported by the Avia.pro news agency.
