SVO News, December 11, 2025, Avia.pro. On the night of December 11, Russian forces deployed Geran-2 kamikaze drones to strike a target near the village of Poskota in the Odessa region. The attack caused a fire, which led to power and heating outages in the surrounding neighborhoods.

Local residents reported bright flashes and smoke over the industrial zone where key power grids are located. Ukrainian air defense forces detected several incoming targets, but were unable to intercept all of them. Official sources in Kyiv have not yet released details of the damage, but similar incidents in the region have previously caused localized blackouts lasting several hours. No civilian casualties were reported.
