Strikes on Ukrainian Armed Forces facilities disrupted railway communications in the Kharkov region

As a result of yesterday's missile attacks on the Kharkov region, the railway infrastructure, including the locomotive depot and key stations, was seriously damaged.

According to local sources, the locomotive depot of the Kharkov Railway is completely out of order. The damage is so extensive that restoration may take a long time. The targets of the attacks also included the Lyubotin station, located west of Kharkov, and the Kharkov-Sortirovochny station, through which reserves from Kupyansk probably passed.

Attacks on the railway infrastructure cause serious damage to the logistics and supply of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The locomotive depot, as a key facility, provides maintenance and repair of rolling stock, which is vital for maintaining railway transportation in the ranks of the Ukrainian army.

The railway infrastructure of the Kharkov region plays a key role in the supply and logistics of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, especially in the context of the ongoing Russian offensive in this direction.
