Drone attack threat in Ufa and Nizhnekamsk: airport restrictions imposed

The Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsiya) has imposed temporary restrictions on aircraft arrivals and departures at Ufa and Nizhnekamsk (Begishevo) airports due to the potential threat of drone attacks. This was announced in official agency notices.

Restrictions at Nizhnekamsk Airport were announced at 6:20 a.m. Moscow time, and at Ufa Airport at 7:29 a.m.

"The restrictions are necessary to ensure flight safety," — explained the Federal Air Transport Agency.

Passengers are advised to check the status of their flights.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Bashkortostan and Tatarstan previously warned of similar risks in border areas, but specific threats to Ufa and Nizhnekamsk were confirmed only today. Residents are advised to remain vigilant and follow emergency services instructions.
