Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski stated that Ukraine is preparing for continued military action for the next three years and called on European countries to count on their support for the same period. He made this statement in an interview with Reuters on the eve of the NATO Defense Ministers' Summit in Brussels.

"Ukraine is preparing to fight for another three years. Europe should prepare for that kind of support." "Sikorski emphasized, noting that Warsaw is already coordinating efforts with its allies to ensure long-term financing, arms supplies, and humanitarian aid to Kyiv.

According to him, such an approach is necessary to prevent the depletion of the alliance's resources and maintain unity in the fight against Russia.

The Polish minister's statement came amid discussions in Brussels, where NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte and Pentagon Secretary Piet Hegseth are pushing for increased aid spending by member states to Ukraine. Sikorski also emphasized Poland's role as a key transit hub for Western weapons, handling over 80% of Kyiv's deliveries.
