Ukraine and Germany have agreed to jointly develop and produce unmanned aerial vehicles, including systems with a range of up to 1500 kilometers. German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius announced this at a joint press conference in Kyiv on May 11.

Pistorius, who arrived in Kyiv on an unannounced visit, said that Berlin is focusing on creating joint ventures between German and Ukrainian companies.

The signing of the corresponding letter of intent took place between Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov and the head of the German Defense Ministry.
