Germany, June 6 — Avia.pro. Specialized media outlets have published a video demonstrating the launch procedure of the German HX-2 attack unmanned aerial vehicle. This system is marketed by its developers as a high-tech loitering munition capable of flying up to 100 kilometers. The UAV's key feature is its integrated artificial intelligence systems.
According to relevant foreign sources, the German Ministry of Defense planned to transfer large quantities of these weapons, numbering several thousand units, to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Currently, the manufacturers continue testing and upgrading the system, including testing its launch capability not only from land platforms but also from the decks of speedboats. Integrated software allows the devices to operate in autonomous target search mode and as part of a single unmanned swarm, which is aimed at overcoming layered air defense zones.
