Ukraine began using new drones equipped with its own computer for attacks

Ukraine is using unmanned aerial vehicles with advanced capabilities to attack Russian energy facilities, including through the introduction of simple artificial intelligence models that allow the drones to navigate and avoid interference without the need to communicate with a satellite. CNN reports this, citing Ukrainian sources. The drones are equipped with built-in computers with terrain data, which ensures their complete autonomy. It is expected that in the future Ukraine may use drones with increased explosives and a longer flight range, posing a significant threat.

Confirmation of the use of advanced drones came from the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, which claimed responsibility for a series of attacks in Tatarstan. The attacks were carried out on April 2, when drones attacked targets in Yelabuga and Nizhnekamsk, prompting calls for the population from the head of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov not to succumb to provocations and remain calm.

These developments highlight serious risks and challenges.
