During his speech at the International Defense Industry Forum in Kyiv, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made an ambitious statement about the country's industrial potential. According to him, Ukraine is ready to produce up to 4 million drones annually, which will become an important element in its defense strategy. Zelensky noted that 1,5 million drones of the declared volume have already been contracted, which indicates serious support and high demand for these reconnaissance and strike assets.

This step, according to the president, should significantly strengthen Ukraine’s position in the confrontation, as well as increase its technological independence.

Drones have already become a very serious problem, since the fight against them is not always effective, while the cost of drones is relatively low.
