Turkey received part of the territory from Ukraine as a property - a defense plant will be built here.

Ambassador of Ukraine to Turkey Vasily Bodnar said that Turkey received part of its territory from Ukraine. It is planned to build a defense plant of the Turkish company Baykar Technologies here, which will launch the production of Turkish strike and reconnaissance drones Bayrkatar TB2. Nevertheless, given the fact that Turkey has acquired part of the Ukrainian territory, this means that in this way Kyiv intends to cover its territory from possible strikes.

“Bayraktars are very important and this is already a legend of our resistance. But our cooperation is not limited to UAVs alone. Just a week ago, the government approved a bilateral agreement and sent it to parliament for ratification, an agreement on the construction of the plant itself. The owner of the Baikar company created his Ukrainian company in Ukraine, this company has already acquired a land plot, they have developed the project of the plant itself and intend to implement it to the end, since it was almost a personal obligation of the company owners to make this production in Ukraine. And it is not only political, but also practical, since a significant part of the models that will be produced at this plant will have Ukrainian-made components. These can be engines, other spare parts, wheels, a lot of other things that we have high-tech and can be used for these aircraft.”- said the Ambassador of Ukraine to Turkey Vasily Bodnar in an interview with RBC-Ukraine

At the moment, the Russian side has not responded to Turkey's plans to build a defense enterprise on the territory of Ukraine, however, such actions by Ankara can seriously complicate relations between Russia and Turkey, however, experts note that the Russian side is unlikely to pay attention to such circumstances, continuing to achieve the goals of the SVO.
