The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine officially marked the receipt of the UAF of the American MLRS M142 Himars.

A few hours ago, Oleksiy Reznikov officially announced the arrival on the territory of Ukraine and the deployment of American M142 Himars multiple launch rocket systems on operational combat duty. A few hours before the official announcement, Ukrainian resources also reported the first combat use of these weapons against targets in the Black Sea - there are no details on this matter, however, the appearance of such information a few hours before the official announcement of the adoption of the M142 Himars MLRS into service indicates that the Armed Forces of Ukraine could well use them for the first time.

At the moment, the information and news agency Avia.pro has information that four complexes arrived from Poland and are deployed in a southerly direction. Over the next three weeks, four more systems should arrive in Ukraine as part of the second batch of these weapons, and by the end of next month, similar systems will arrive from the UK and Germany.

According to official data, Ukraine has received missiles with a range of up to 70 kilometers. However, if such a need arises, the United States can transfer long-range tactical missiles with a range of up to 500 kilometers to Ukraine. Moreover, the appearance of tactical weapons on the territory of neighboring Belarus can serve as an argument, as Alexander Lukashenko officially announced earlier.
