Ukraine has significantly strengthened its air force, receiving four F-16ADF fighters from the United States and six F-16MLU fighters from the Netherlands. This supply could create additional difficulties for Russia.
According to the Telegram channel "Dragon dances", the F-16ADF are modified versions of the F-16A, adapted for air defense (air defense) missions. These aircraft are equipped with an advanced radar capable of tracking small targets and are integrated with AIM-7 and AIM-120 missiles, making them effective interceptors.
“The subtlety of the F-16ADF is that it is an American aircraft: an upgrade from the F-16A to an air defense interceptor fighter. The aircraft have an improved radar capable of tracking small targets, as well as integration of AIM-7 and AIM-120 missiles. In order to chase the X-101, this is a suitable option,” - it is told in the message.
These four fighters are expected to provide cover for six Dutch F-16MLUs during attacks, minimizing the risk of them being hit by long-range air defenses.
