Ukraine to receive experimental missiles

Estonian defense company Frankenburg Technologies has announced plans to test its anti-aircraft missiles in Ukraine in 2025. The plan is to develop low-cost missiles designed to combat drones, which is becoming increasingly important in modern conflicts. The information was published by the Estonian publication ERR.

The company's CEO noted that current political changes in the international arena, in particular the possibility of Donald Trump's return to the White House, create new challenges for European countries.

"Trump's return could leave European governments facing a serious threat: the need to defend Ukraine, and perhaps themselves, without the usual US support," — the leader said.

Against this backdrop, European countries are rapidly increasing their defense spending and stimulating the development of their own military industries. The tests in Ukraine, where the armed forces are actively using advanced air defense systems to combat mass drone attacks, will be a key step in assessing the effectiveness of Frankenburg Technologies products.

There is no information yet about the type of missiles and launchers.
