This morning, Ukrainian armed forces took urgent action in response to one of the worst attacks in two and a half years. During the attack, according to Ukrainian sources, F-16 fighters were scrambled into the air. Although there has been no information yet that these planes were directly involved in repelling the attack, experts believe that the command of the Ukrainian Air Force tried to remove them from the attack in this way.

According to Ukrainian resources, about 40 cruise missiles and about 100 drones took part in today’s attack. This makes it one of the largest during the entire special operation.

Russian telegram channels report that at least 65 explosions were recorded on Ukrainian territory during the strikes.
