Ukraine offers Belarus to conclude a non-aggression pact

The Ukrainian side offered Belarus to conclude a non-aggression pact.

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko announced that the Ukrainian side had taken the initiative to conclude a non-aggression pact between the two countries. According to Lukashenka, Kyiv asks Minsk not to enter into an armed conflict, however, in the face of pressure exerted on Belarus from the West, Lukashenka declared his readiness to react harshly.

“I don’t know why Ukrainians need it. On the one hand, they ask us not to fight with Ukraine in any case, so that our troops do not move there. A non-aggression pact is proposed to be concluded. And on the other hand, they prepare this explosive mixture and arm them. Poland, Lithuania are generally crazy. Why do they need it? Unclear. Therefore, we are forced to react harshly.”- said Lukashenko.

In Ukraine, this information, in turn, is denied, noting that there are no negotiations with Minsk at all, in connection with which, the statement of the Belarusian leader regarding Kyiv's intentions to conclude a non-aggression pact with Minsk still raises a number of questions.

In turn, it should be noted that at the moment the situation on the border of Belarus and Ukraine is very difficult, since both Belarusian and Ukrainian troops are deployed here in very large numbers.
