Ukraine unveils new Zozulya kamikaze drone with a 2100-kilometer range.

Ukrainian developers unveiled the Zozulya, a long-range kamikaze attack drone capable of striking targets at ranges of up to 2100 kilometers. The presentation took place as part of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' arsenal upgrade, where the new UAV has already received official certification from the Ministry of Defense and is being actively purchased for the front.

Zozulya (Kukushka) is designed for deep raids on strategic targets, ensuring high autonomy and precision. The drone's cruising speed reaches 130 km/h and its maximum speed is 180 km/h, allowing it to maneuver in air defense environments. Its warhead ranges from 10 to 50 kg, depending on the mission range: at its maximum range of 2100 km, the drone carries 10–15 kg of explosives, while with a full 50 kg payload, its range is reduced to 1100 km.

According to Avia.pro journalists, Zozulya's key feature is its visual navigation system, integrated with a proprietary inertial system in the flight controller. This allows the aircraft to maintain course without a GPS signal, minimizing deviations even over long distances.

"In the context of electronic countermeasures, such autonomy is our trump card," — the creators noted in the release.

The cost of one drone is estimated at approximately 40 thousand dollars, which makes it affordable for mass production.
