Ukraine will be able to receive old F-16 fighters from NATO.

Despite the fact that Ukrainian resources are discussing the supply of modern modifications of the F-16 fighter jets to the Ukrainian Air Force, it became known that in reality, Ukraine will only be able to receive obsolete variants of combat aircraft in the F-16AM version. According to available information, the supply of fighters will be carried out according to a unique scheme. The main parties in the coalition responsible for the transfer of F-16 fighters to Ukraine are the UK and France, despite the fact that they do not have these aircraft in their fleet. However, F-16AM fighters are available from other European countries, including Belgium, Greece, Denmark, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal and Romania, with a total of more than 300 aircraft.

It is noted that these countries will become "donors" of fighter aircraft for Ukraine, providing part of their aircraft. First of all, Ukraine will receive F-16AM fighters, these are models of the 80s, which have been upgraded to the 50/52 level. However, they are capable of using all the necessary weapons, including AIM-120C7 missiles. Given this, fighters will pose a fairly serious threat.
