Ukraine has launched another attack on Crimea, this time targeting Sevastopol. According to Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev, the city's military forces repelled an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces using air defense systems. It is preliminary reported that two unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were shot down over the Black Sea.

Razvozhaev called on residents to remain calm, observe safety measures and remain in temporary shelters or safe places until the situation has fully stabilized. According to the Sevastopol Rescue Service, civilian facilities in the city were not damaged and there is currently no threat to civilians.

In the wake of the attack, security measures were stepped up in the region and all services were put on alert. At the same time, the Crimean Bridge was temporarily closed, which is a standard precaution in the event of a possible threat.
