The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has named the number of fighters needed to win the conflict.

According to an official statement from the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Ukraine needs 48 F-16 aircraft to regain control over the lost territories. At the moment, it is known that Ukraine is guaranteed to receive 24 fighters of this type, however, deliveries can be arranged from the United States, in which case the delivery plan may well be fulfilled.

How exactly Ukraine plans to gain an advantage through the supply of F-16 fighters is still unknown, however, in all likelihood, with the help of these aircraft, Ukraine plans to strike with planning bombs, as well as strikes with air-to-air missiles, however, to date, the supply of long-range AIM-120 AMRAAM missiles has not been reported.

The first deliveries of F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine can be arranged as early as September, which will become a new round of escalation of the conflict.
